I bought this because I was interested in trying out a vinegar rinse but didn't fancy smelling like cider vinegar... I thought it was reasonably priced for the amount that you get, which is 290ml, but after using it I think that the price is a bit high! As you can see in the photo, I have only about a fifth of it left and I've only used it 5 times (shoulder-length fine hair). I think I'd be happy to pay this price if it could be around double the volume. As for the product itself, it smells very strongly of camellia flower. Very strongly. Especially in a hot shower! All that alcohol evaporates and goes whoooosh straight up your nose. At first, I didn't mind the scent - I actually quite liked it - but after the second use I now turn the temperature of the water down a little to reduce the steam in the bathroom before applying! It is a very watery product... in fact it is exactly like water. You may want to change the cap of it to something easier to pour. I personally am okay with using the current cap (but very carefully). At first I also applied it straight after shampoo - I highly recommend that you DON'T do this! My hair wasn't in its best condition afterwards. Use conditioner, wash it out, then use this vinegar rinse - my hair was very shiny and very manageable afterwards. It also seems to have an effect on the health of my scalp. It wasn't very irritated before, but sometimes if I use certain products, it gets a bit dry and irritated. So far I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. I think I'm going to continue to use this product as I'm confident that vinegar rinses actually do help the condition of the hair, but I like this nicer smelling alternative!
